Today I participated in a workshop to give the local go-getter business operators a few fool-proof ideas on how to maximise their online, or digital, investment. The key, believe it or not folks, is consistency. Consistency across messaging, aligning your text or content with graphics and images - so it seems the perfect match extends beyond food and wine! Please explain you say, well if you are selling a relaxing and tranquil getaway, your image shouldn't be that of a bunch of college granduates cracking a carton of beer. It seems so astoundingly simple, yet consistency in all its forms, or the lack of to be precise, is one of the most common weeknesses I see.
So what to do? Generate some key messages for your business, hire a photographer or phone a friend whose handy behind the lens and get to work.
